Whoo! I'm a'movin' on up, and I actually have something art-centric to write about on my delicious DeviantArt Journal. Read on.

Recently, I have been trying to draw my original characters more. My original originals, not KND OCs, or other people's characters, or anything like that for that matter, and just bringing back what mattered most to me.

~UayNailo has been my muse for many many months, but because of skool and stuff, we haven't gotten much time to ourselves and just got down to giving our characters some much needed love. Well, I don't know about her. She's been writing and drawing and stuff, but I've been buh-lank.

Back on what I'm trying to write about- I'm reliving the glory days of my celestials- The Furies (Alecto, Megaera, Tisiphone), Xeipheyl and Aerocles, and such... just doodling them for fun and making sure I haven't forgotten about 'em at all.

When I have drawn Alecto and Xeipheyl, however... I don't really draw them like I used to. No, I didn't mess with their outward appearance- Alecto's still a pretty fair-headed gal, and Xeipheyl's still a scarred redhead- I've been changing their outfits.

Nothing too drastic, all I've given 'em is a few different clothes, which seem to be working real fine for 'em. I am espeially ecstatic about Xeipheyl's new attire... both of which will be scanned in today, or maybe I'll ink 'em. I do know I will definitely ink the Alecto and scan the pencil sketch of the Xeipheyl...

I've also decided in tow, I must revamp Tisiphone and Megaera's clothes. Tisiphone's... just PLAIN for a regal prietess, and Megaera has her some funky armor. I guess I'll see what comes up in the future.

I really need to make better character references. Good ol' Regan loaned me some webspace that's still floating around (I'm waiting for Julie to write my HTML), I'll be using that for the longlonglong-overdue tutorial, as well as character refernces (stats, bios, reference pics), and I guess that'd be all I'd have so far. I'm not as cool as her. o__o

Next stop? Rhen. HE NEEDS A SHIRT. and a woman, but that's something for another day.

(Edit: This could actually be a possible contest idea... too bad Valerie already started hers first. Nyuh.)

Thanks for hearing me ramble, kids. Sorry, but I gotta push KND outta the way sometime. Fwoosh.
